Covid came upon us... it turned our world upside down but it has also brought us positive experiences. Rediscovering our country, our community, shopping local, supporting one another, building each other up & pouring some wine in the mix has made it so much more fruitful.... The VKH Vineyard motto in 2019: Bringing families and the community together with great wine! We planned to slowly introduce new varieties of our wine, however we have found ourselves with a slight problem; a good one. We are just about SOLD OUT! Thank you for being part of our problem. We dont know if we should laugh or cry! Frequently, we have been told that VKH Vineyard feels like home. Families hit speed bumps and wind through growing pains. As we continue to grow; the vineyard will need to modify its hours for the next few weeks in order to restock our shelves. We have many varieties of wine in the works and are almost ready to bottle. They look like grapes....dont be fooled. These are flowers grouped in bunches called inflorescences. Once successfully pollinated, each flower becomes a grape berry with the inflorescence turning into a cluster of grapes. 1 year ago we started on our new adventure and became the new owners of the Vineyard! Our ENDLESS hours of pruning, cutting trees and fields of grass, painting, staining, fixing, collaborating with other incredible local vineyards, businesses, friends and neighbors has made the experience even more enriching. We have learnt so much over this past year... and still so much more to learn. Knowing we have everyones support makes this all the more important to us.
