As per the latest news release.....as of Monday, November 16th.....It is mandatory to wear a mask in the Vanscoy Hotel. You will be required to wear a mask anyt...ime you are away from sitting at your table. Vanscoy Hotel will be stopping all in house alcohol sales as of 10 PM. Off sale will continue until 11 PM. These changes are in effect until we receive another update from the powers that be. The Staff of the Vanscoy Hotel thank each and everyone of you for your cooperation during these crazy times. Let’s work together to stop the spread and hopefully things will get back to normal sooner.

In loving memory of Phil Sawatzky, who sadly passed away on May 20, 2020, our family would like to extend a warm welcome to come and pay respects to Phil Sawatzky. Due to the circumstances of the Covid-19 regulations only 10 people will be allowed to attend the actual funeral service, but there will be a viewing on Tuesday May 26 from 430pm-6pm. Groups of 10 will be allowed in for 15 minutes at a time, and will be taking place at Hilcrest Funeral home. It is recommended to ca...ll ahead to book a time with Carly at 1-306-477-4400. The funeral service will be a live video feed, the link will be posted in the obituary and online. Do to the recent update on this virus, I am saddened to say that I have to close the hottest spot in Vanscoy..... the Vanscoy bar! See you all on the flip side of this! Hopefully there will be another update soon with better news! I will keep you posted.
