WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS - College has education agents who are not Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC). When these agents mislead the student the college takes no responsibility. Lau said that the school's only role is to "provide training and the education program for the students". Well, the college also has a responsibility to hire education agents who can be legally held resposible for ruining people's lives. if the misleading consultant in this case was not RCIC then the college should be held responsible for allowing unregulated person (or company) to recruit students for them. If the misleading consultant was RCIC then the students need to file a complaint with the ICCRC to ensure the culprits can be held responsible. [email protected]
