Vaughan Fitness Kickboxing Challenge 27.10.2020

Hi! I’d like to share with you the initiatives the Ilkb Vaughan Instructors are taking to limit the spread of the Coronavirus and COVID-19. Our primary concern always, and especially during this health state of emergency, is your safety and the safety of our team. We are taking this health threat very seriously and we have proactively prepared the studio and our work-outs to minimize/eliminate the risk of exposure. Cleanliness in the studio has always been top priority, but w...e are putting extra emphasis on cleaning and disinfecting the equipment we use during classes. As is our practice, we will continue to clean frequently touched surfaces on a regular basis and disinfect the heavy bags and mat between classes so you know your space is clean. One nice thing about kickboxing is gloves are required to take class so there is no need to touch the equipment others are using. To help members maintain safe personal distances in class we will be structuring classes to keep everyone at one spot. We have reduced amount of new trials in studio and have prioritized our members. We will continue to monitor class size and may implement class booking system if required. We are halting any activities or exercises that require members to have direct contact with instructors or other members. Until otherwise directed we won’t be giving hugs, high fives or even knuckle bumps. Also, we will change how partner glove drills are taught to eliminate physical contact. We encourage members to continue using good personal hygiene, wash hands often and use hand sanitizer before and after class. Due to demand, pretty much all suppliers are out of stock with hand sanitizer, however we have sufficient disinfecting wipes in studio. Please stay home if you don’t feel well. Likewise, we will stay home if we don’t feel well. We are closely monitoring and following the advice of our federal, provincial and local public health officials. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
