The Ontario Government has announced that a province-wide lockdown will begin at 12:01 am on December 26th. These new measures will see all non-essential businesses close for a period of 28 days in Southern Ontario. The Government has also announced the launch of the Ontario Small Business Support Grant to assist businesses during the shutdown. The Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy and Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy extension have received royal assent. Eligible businesses can apply for the Rent Subsidy as of Monday, November 23rd while the Wage Subsidy has officially been extended to June 2021.
