Here we have 2 - 40 Amp breakers one running the stove at the bottom which has proper 8 gauge wire in it & the one above is running the dryer which has the dryer rated wire at 10 gauge but that upper 40 amp breaker should be a 30 amp. Oversizing your breaker doesn’t allow the proper overcurrent protection on that wire this can be a fire hazard #electrician #reno #homeinspection #homeinspector #realestate

This 110-year-old house had a little tiny crawlspace that I had to get inside to identify the incoming water line material. In this house it was lead (typical for this neighborhood and era of )good thing I did because it also had a leak in the shut off.
