Fixed this converted oil boiler. Replaced this $50 part and she was running again.

Beware of terrible contractors. Im at a project where the general contractor cut corners and didnt install the fire barrier between the walls of a four-plex condo. The owner wasnt aware and has had to sit on this project awaiting a solution between the engineers and city for over a year. My job was remove ducting and piping from the ceiling space of the basements of all units and replace once the ceiling was drywalled creating a fire barrier. It also included putting in fire dampers for the ducting. The morale is when you are getting a deal it usually means you are going to pay for in the end.
