Due to the recently announced COVID-19 restriction plan the Vauxhall Curling Club has the made the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2020/21 season. We hope we can return to normal sooner than later and we will see you in the fall!! Stay safe everyone.

The Taber Curling Club Executive Board members regret to inform the public and our valued members of the immediate closure of The Taber Curling Club and the can...cellation of all leagues and bonspiels for the remainder of the 2020/21 season. The Board feels that the Taber Curling Club will be unable to return to regular league play before the end of the season with the recently announced COVID 19 restriction plan. Due to the expenses incurred by keeping the curling rink operable during the brief playing season and keeping the ice ready for possible return, the Board is offering the following options: Ladies, Mens, Mixed, Senior and Stick league members will receive a 50% credit toward their 2021-2022 season fees. Junior league curlers will receive a 100% credit toward their 2021-2022 season fees. If anyone is in a position to donate the remaining 50% of their paid fees, please let your league reps know and they can issue you a donation receipt for that amount which can be claimed on your personal taxes. This has been a very difficult decision and the Executive has not taken it lightly, the Board members are working hard to ensure the Club's future and ability to continue operations moving forward and we greatly appreciate the cooperation of our members. We understand that the pandemic has caused financial turmoil for everyone and sympathize with those facing trying times. If any of you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our any one of Executive board members. We are all planning for a normal 2021-2022 season. See you all in October! We will be following AHS guidelines and Curling Alberta recommendations to ensure the safety of our curlers and spectators.
