2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Even in these trying times, we can find rest and peace in a God who conquers fear. He is in control!

John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Hello Victory Family, Most of you should have been contacted by now, but here is our latest info in regards to the current situation. As always, we continue to trust the Lord during these times. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.... I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 COVID-19 Response Due to the global concern of COVID-19, we want to let you know how we are responding. As it is a developing and fast-moving situation, we will carefully and continually monitor it. Because of the volume of important information in this message, please read carefully and contact us with any questions. We want to do everything we can to provide a safe environment for our church family by taking the following precautions. Services: Beginning Thursday, March 19th, the messages will be live streamed at the usual service times with the exception of our Sunday School hour which will be on hold for the time being. Our church website is https://www.vbcwinnipeg.ca/ We will re-evaluate at the beginning of April whether we can begin physically meeting as a body of believers. We encourage you to join us via computer, tablet, or phone until then. Care: We have made plans to keep in touch with our entire church family through our various leaders & teachers. You can expect to hear periodically from them. The purpose of their phone call will be to make sure you and your family are ok and to see if there are any needs that you may have. Giving: We are reminded in II Corinthians that Paul spoke to the churches of Macedonia who ... in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. It is important to be reminded during this season that the church responsibilities locally and around the world will continue. We hope you will continue to faithfully support the work during this time that we cannot be physically present together. Some may chose to mail their tithe (cheques only) or give via e-transfer at [email protected]
