The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. The photos below are not great as it was a wet day when I passed this bridge in south western Bitiah Columbia but it clearly shows that the ministry spent a bunch of money a number of times completing top surface delamination repairs to the bridge deck. For all those engineering firms out there that get involved in these types of projects, including a corrosion mitigation solution ...such as galvanic anodes within the repair patches is a cost effective approach to achieving long lasting repairs. One of our crews hard at work preparing the Point Ellice bridge deck (in Victoria) for the installation of a corrosion control system using our Galvashield CC Anodes as part of a rehabilitation project to extend the overall lifespan of the structure.
