SELF AFFIRMATIONS! Talking to yourself in a positive light daily is proven to help increase your self worth and live a happier, more positive life. Speak these truths to yourself regularly, every day. These are only a few examples but you can make your own, too. Make sure that when you are saying them out loud, it is not "I want to be..."... It is not "I wish I was..." You are already all of these things and so much more. I AM beautiful. I AM intelligent. I DESRRVE love. Could truer words be spoken? -- So many times women put themselves lower than they need to because they feel like society demands of them to be lesser. Stay low so that you do not intimidate the dudes. -- Woman - YOU are strong. Your strength does not have to come from powerflifting. It does not need to be physical. But your strength does come from your soul. It comes from what pushes you to be better. It comes from the infinite knowledge that you daily obtain and use to bett...er the world. -- Do not put yourself lower in order to hopefully boost the confidence of others. By allowing yourself to flourish and show the world your beauty and your inner strength, you are imparting, or giving the allowance, to other women who also are waiting to let their strength, their light shine. -- Weekend challenge: Find out what makes you strong. The power of positive affirmations. "I am..." Telling yourself what and who you are on a regular basis actually tricks your subconscious into believing it. Consistently telling yourself that you are too fat, too ugly, not good enough, all of those things - eventually you will believe it. On the contrast, speaking to your self positively... I am SMART... I am STRONG... I am CAPABLE... these things too will become true, and you will believe it. You just need to do so in the pre...sent tense and do it on a regular basis. So tell me... What are you? #repost from our trainer @fittchelle Give her a follow! Today is a day for POSITIVITY and GRATITUDE. Please take a moment if you can to read this - I don't ask you to hear me out often so today is the day. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend #BCFIT 2017 yesterday and got the chance to meet so many wonderful individuals. There was so much to take in and so many good presentations - but the biggest thing that I took home was positivity and gratitude.... Two little words. Two words that we have all heard so many times. How can they really change your life? People think that to be grateful for what you have, you have to be positive and have positive circumstances. But it's actually the other way around. In order to become positive, you need to be grateful. You need to cultivate gratitude in your every day life. I learned a new 3 step rule. It is similar to what you learn crossing the street as a child. 1) STOP - Take a pause throughout your day to just be in the moment. Realize where you are and what you're doing and become in the present. 2) LOOK - Take a moment and look around. See what's in front of you. Find what you have that you can be thankful for and appreciate. We all have so many things that are negative in our lives, but we also have positive things too. Search for those. 3) GO - Now take what you have newly become grateful for and find a way to benefit someone else and move forward with it. Remember this throughout the day. Studies have shown that when people do this a few times randomly during the day, just changing your focus from the bad to things to the good, and in turn trying to use that to benefit others, it has a great impact on your own happiness and outlook on life.
