We are so excited to announce that we will be opening Tuesday, May 19th. We will be contacting clients from our previous cancellation list over the next few days to ensure they get priority booking times. You may feel free to book online on our website www.velvetstudiohair.com We have been busy preparing the salon in compliance with WorkSafeBC to ensure everyones safety. This means the salon experience will be different for the time being... -We will have an outdoor waiting... area. If you arrive early to your appointment please take a seat in our courtyard, we will come get you as soon as we are ready for you. -All work surfaces, shelves, chairs, & the debit terminal will be properly disinfected between each client. -Everyone in the salon is required to wear a mask. You can wear your own or we also have disposable masks for $1 (this may be a good option for those getting hair-colour services that might risk staining their personal mask) -We will still be practising social distancing from everyone in the salon except from your service provider. Hair Stations will be over 6 feet away from one another. There will be some limited private appointment available- if you prefer a private appointment please email us ([email protected]) -We are limited to the amount of people in the salon so you must arrive to your appointment by yourself (without friends or family). -The salon is now equipped with an air filtration system to help improve air quality. -We currently wont be serving fruit infused water/coffee/tea but we will have complimentary bottled water (sparkling & regular) for clients. We also currently wont have magazines to read. -We wont be providing hand massages or scalp massages for the time being. -All retail products for sale will be disinfected and separately bagged in drawers & products on shelves will be there for display purposes only -All appointments must be prescheduled & all solely product purchases pre-arranged. We are not accepting walk-in appointments at this time. -We have also taken courses with beautysafe to stay up to date on the best sanitation and disinfection procedures. We remind you- If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms at all please contact us to reschedule your appointment. We are so excited to see you all again and thank-you so much for the love & support we received while closed.
