We have reels, brochures, lives, stories, but Instagram still can't figure out how to have uncropped vertical photos without using a third party app..

If you can't find me, I'll be sitting in a field of horses... in my dreams said everyone, except Makenzie and Chase who are lucky AF to be able to sit in a literal field of horses.

When Sonya and Chad told me that they had a beautiful spot by the river picked out for photos (I 100% trusted them and did not scout), I honestly did not expect this. The gorgeous fall colors scattered all over this river valley has to be one of my top 3 favorite views from 2020. Oh and these two aren't to bad to look at either...

Not your typical, "lets just pull up and take photos" type of spot. Don't get me wrong, some amazing photos have been taken on the side of the road, because angles. But there's also something so special about hiking to a gorgeous location and having your memories captured. Having photos taken shouldn't feel like a chore, but rather something that you are excited for. An entire experience.

Anyone else watch shows/movies now and see people share a drink, have a potluck, or be in a group and think "hey, they shouldn't do that!". No just me? ok.. #nursebrain

If you're not a morning person, you should most definitely get up at 3:30am, hike for 1.5 hours and sit with your favorite people while you watch the sunrise and rays crash against the mountain peaks. It'll change your life.

Fact, it's impossible not to say "ohhh big stretch" when a baby or dog stretch.

I have officially closed my wedding books for 2021! I can't believe it. Honestly. 2021 will be my fourth official year of calling myself a professional photographer, and I never thought I would have 4 weddings booked per month between June and September. I could not have done it without everyone's support so I just want to say THANK YOU. 2022 books are open, and to be honest I didn't really have an "opening" date (girl likes to plan), but already 4 wedding...s are booked. Guys. Unreal. I am so excited for this seasons weddings and sessions, no matter how they look (see my last post if you need help planning for an unknown 2021 wedding season). I still have room for regular and adventure sessions, as well as elopements, however I will not be booking any more sessions during the weekends for 2021. In the past having more weekends booked hasn't bothered me, but with 2021 continuing to be busy with nursing I want to make sure I am the most creative (and sane) photographer for everyone! Let's do this thang. See more

Not sorry for the amount of photos you will exclusively get of your pet in your gallery if you bring them to your session.

Dalen says I'm not allowed in 'Babies 'R Us' anymore, but it's ok since I don't think I can have kids anymore on account of my ovaries exploding. Did baby stuff get cuter, or did I just hit an age? Not asking for a friend...
