Not only is the venue itself absolutely perfect, from the original brick, to all of the fabulous wallpaper in each room, to the absolutely PERFECT Bride and Groom rooms (Grace Lounge & Walter Lounge). But the team working behind the scenes are absolutely amazing. It is no secret, this crew is passionate about weddings, photography, people and perfection. They made us feel so comfortable and confident through the entire process, from planning, to the day after during clean up. We are still (3 months later) getting compliments from friends and family about how our wedding was by far the best wedding they have attended; and as much as we would like to take the credit, we can't - it is all thanks to the incredible Venue308 team. Penny here! I locked myself out of the Venue to on a Wednesday. It was 3pm and I was finally headed to grab a bite....but, I had my wallet, phone and mask so was suddenly was able to take the opportunity to do something we had been promising to do as a team....walk the neighbourhood. . I went one step further (pun intended) and timed it all. Becoming overwhelmed with the number of things to do and see, I stopped for a margarita on the patio at East Village’s new @soleilyyc a...nd jotted down the journey. . By the time Bretton arrived to rescue me, I had much to share as we talked and walked back to Venue 308. I miss travelling and got to marvel at the offerings of this great city, all within a 15 minute radius of our venue. .
