Although we will sure be continuing with donations to regional institutions with front-line workers in need of some bright colour and encouragement, we will be passing the baton to the co-sponsoring companies to continue the spread of awareness on social media. Two families moved in to their new homes September 13, 2019. Verhoef Electric was honoured to be a part of this build with Habitat for Humanity.

Great article on page 3 of NewsNow Grimsby/ Lincoln. Each year we co-host a Meet and Greet for local greenhouse owners/growers. It's been a great opportunity to meet up with others in the horticultural industry, catch up on the latest trends and see what's new.

Our lights are shining a lot brighter today at our store. Where to begin, When the lights are dim and you know you need new bulbs, you call your electrician to... order some new ones and that’s exactly what you would expect to receive, correct? Well this was not the case when I called Kevin Verhoef from Verhoef Electric, who has always been our company of choice as Kevin had done work for us before. Kevin popped over and after accessing, he mentioned to me about an Energy rebate from the province we could be eligible for in the amount of $4000.00. I waited with anticipation to see if we were eligible. I got an email from Kevin telling me we were approved and the job would be around $20.000 less the rebate. I knew that would be beyond our financial reach, and I continued to read the email. I had to read it twice before I realized what Kevin wrote. Kevin would like to supply and install the new lights, and all of it at no charge. It gets better, 18 of Verhoef’s Electricians VOLUNTEERED their time to complete this amazing task. This retro fit will save us $3800.00 per year in hydro costs. I don’t have enough words to express mine and my boards gratitude for this amazing act of kindness and generosity towards our store, our Mission, and our local community. God Bless each and everyone one of you from Verhoef we are all forever grateful.
