This was Erica's (EA Practicum student from Lakeland College) last day in 5B. We will miss her and wish her good luck in the future.

5a learned about ordering decimal numbers by having the First Annual Cotton Ball Toss. May be looking into this becoming an Olympic sport in the future.

Welcome to the VES Baker’s Dozen 12 Days Before Christmas Break Concert! Each day from now until the break, we will be featuring one class to present their Christmas number to you. The classes will be chosen in random order, so please visit Vermilion Elementary School on Facebook each day to catch all of the songs. On the eighth day before Christmas Break, the Grade 2 class presents to you: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, using bucket drumming.

Students in 4B have been busy making Christmas cards and ornaments for residents in Continuing Care in Vermilion and Islay. We hope they bring a smile!
