Thank you to our United Way Southern Interior BC - North Okanagan for showing #LocalLove in a global crisis. Back in March, our Crisis Line began receiving a record amount of calls. The COVID pandemic had been announced and our community, country and the world were gripped with uncertainty, fear and anxiety in a way we had not experienced before. But we came together with compassion and support, with helping hands and caring hearts. The United Way is at the forefront, with support for our Crisis Line to ensure the many voices calling for help are heard, and given the assistance they need.
