Twisted Twister What are some different ways you can use that twister game in your game’s cupboard? Here is one idea: Game Set up: Come up with fun and simple challenges (10 jumping jacks, skip around the room, etc). Using squares (or circles) of paper write the challenge on one side and add a point value to the other side. Place the paper challenge side down (or up!) on each circle of the twister sheet. Game Play:... Each person takes turns tossing a bean bag (a stuffie or rolled up socks work well) to land on a circle. Pick up the paper and do the challenge and get the points. Person with the most points wins! See more

Random Acts of Kindness What are some things you can do as a family that might bring a smile to someone’s face? Share your ideas in the comments and let us know what your family/household decides to do.
Minute to Win it Games These are fun, fast and usually simple games to set up. There are a lot of fun ideas online, even some Christmas themed ideas. Most often you can adapt these games to using household items. What are your favorite Minute to Win it Games? Show us some photos of your family playing some games.
STEM Skier Challenge We love projects that not only get kids outside, but also teach them about nature and science. Setting up a Winter Sports Ski Challenge will teach and engage your kids during the winter season. Work with your kids to plan, design, and engineer a skier (from aluminum foil or other material of their choice) that can stand on skis (popsicle sticks) and make it down a slope! Not only will this get kids thinking outside the box about physics, engineering, elements, and design, but it’ll keep them interested, engaged and outside for hours! The holiday season may be different this year but we have you covered with our Holiday Hoopla! Check our page daily for a fun activity you can do at home or virtually with family and friends.
Due to delays in the major maintenance projects, the Aquatic Center has delayed its reopening. We are currently contacting all registered swimming lesson participants to let you know of the delays in your class start date.

We cannot tell you how happy it makes us to see families and friends enjoying our outdoor pools again! Thank you to everyone who has visited the Lavington and Lakeview outdoor pools and followed the protocols that are in place to keep everyone safe. Our indoor pool remains closed at this time, but we continue working on the facility so it's ready to go when it's safe and feasible to reopen the doors.
