We have exciting collections contributed by two generous poets in the VPH Auction. http://ow.ly/iLH050BLoeO Bidding closes in just four days! Kevin Spenst is a Pushcart Poetry nominee, winner of the Lush Triumphant Award for Poetry and author of and over a dozen chapbooks. Works in his collection include; Jabbering with Bing Bong, Ignite, and Surrey Sonnets.... Joseph A. Dandurand, our Artistic Director, donated a collection that includes his play; TH’OWXIYA: The Hungry Feast Dish, the Children’s Book; The Sasquatch, the Fire, and the Cedar Baskets and his book of poetry; looking into the eyes of my forgotten dreams.

Experience (on a board, with a non-profit arts organization, with HR, and/or with spoken word events and organizing) Want to be considered but live outside of Vancouver? No worries! All meetings are remote for the foreseeable future (due to COVID-19), and video calls for directors outside of the city are an option once meetings return to being held in-person

Janice Jo Lee Janice Jo Lee brings knowledge of spoken word, storytelling, poetry slam as well as songwriting, singing, and looping pedal to a consultation. Janice is interested in the questions What is the artist’s responsibility to the community? and How can we use art as a tool towards empowerment, social change, community-building and joy? Brad Morden is the founder and publisher at Write Bloody North and a ukulele/poet and poetry organizer from Norfolk County, Ontario. He is one half of the folk-hop-poetry sensation Atomic Wednesday. Brad’s consultation will begin with research based on email contact to identify areas of interest/issues/goals before personalized consultation.
