My primary concern in politics, tainting all my opinions of leaders, is social media use and influence on political discourse in Canada. I find some discussions are lost and very much needed regarding access across the country to the tools we use to engage in politics, the quality of those tools, and literacy for using them. Your thoughts on this?

Recently I listened to Yaron Brook, who is a pure libertarian capitalist. And I asked myself a question. Would I personally be a better off in a COUPLE of YE...ARs or so if ALL taxes are abolished in Canada, except for a hypothetical 5% HST to pay for national military, diplomacy and law enforcement, EVERYTHING is privatized and I will need to pay for EVERYTHING from my pocket? This question is not about the society as a whole but yourself. Also it is not only about money but other ramifications as well. Do you believe that you are going to be better off in this new Canada? feeling thoughtful. See more
