The Ephemera Storytelling Box is OFFICIALLY snug in its summer home at Kathy's Brew Haha! A perfect opportunity to grab lunch, a snack or a coffee and explore a timeless (fictional) love story set here in Elliot Lake. - RJ
Quick update: The Ephemera Box Storytelling Installation will be housed for a spell at Kathy’s Brew Ha Ha (https://www.facebook.com/Kathys-Brew-Haha-1628122230838516/) starting in July! Grab a cappuccino or sandwich and spend some time reading this story-as-memory box (archival gloves available). After its stint at the Gallery at the Centre, the ESB spent a couple months in the studio being digitised. The VESSEL team is happy to announce that the digital literature version ...of the ESB is well under way and will be launched by the end of the summer. Keep an eye on this space for more details! There are exciting things on the horizon more updates to come! And while we don’t currently have an office, if you need to contact us, feel free to drop us a message here or an email via our website. -K
Last night (Thursday February 21) there was a partial collapse of the roof at the Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries. The building will be closed until the City of Elliot Lake announces otherwise. Therefore, the VESSEL Transmedia Storytelling Lab will be suspending operations until the building is deemed safe for the public. The Ephemera Storytelling Box will remain at the Gallery at the Centre (also closed) until the building is reopened or we can get in to retrieve the installation and move it. https://www.elliotlaketoday.com//roof-at-lester-b-pearson-
