Alright let’s talk remote starters! When purchasing a remote starter you will need to know year, make and model of your vehicle first off. Then go into detail of whether it’s automatic or manual transmission. Whether it’s gas or diesel. If it’s a standard key, tip key or push start. Finer detail sometimes the special edition types need to be known. 1 way remote starter will send the signal to the vehicle and will turn your lights on when running for you to see that it indee...d did start. 2 way remote starter will send the signal to the vehicle and will also get a signal from the vehicle that it was started by beeping back to the remote and lighting up informing you that vehicle has indeed started. Most likely your vehicle has an immobilizer as must do now a days. This will require a security bypass module as well which ups the standard price that you always see advertised. People usually get upset at the cost increase but every vehicle is different and requires different equipment which will vary in price. This will prepare you for any questions a salesperson or installer will ask. I am both so I will know the ins and outs of your vehicle as I have installed equipment into probably any type of vehicle on our roads.
