Thank you for being such a valuable part of this industry! ... We would like to give a special shout out to our very own RVT's, Chantelle and Deb, who's indispensable skill set help us to provide support for our members every day!

Congratulations Debbie Cracknell, who has officially retired as Director of Purchasing after 40 years with VP!! The mark she has made at Veterinary Purchasing, and within the industry as a remarkable female in leadership is truly extraordinary. While Debbie spent most of her years at the company leading the Purchasing, Order Desk and Returns Departments, she understood the business inside and out and was a valuable resource not only for VP staff but also for supplier represen...tatives. Her relationships built over the years were evident in the many well wishes received from her industry contacts and friends. Debbie was sure to leave a message to staff to share her experiences and changes seen over the years which included, a carousel picking program and going from 18 to over 800 skus of pet food, but also to reiterate the one thing that has remained constant: Great Staff. She reminded everyone that we are known for our stellar service, and that our success is possible because of each and every individual’s contributions. Debbie will be missed around the office by her colleagues, but her retirement is well deserved, and we wish her nothing but health and happiness in the years to come! Please note: We won’t leave you hanging! We are thrilled to announce that two experienced VP employees have been given the opportunity to fill Debbie’s shoes! Charlotte Riordan is now leading the Purchasing Department as Purchasing Manager, and Stacey MacNeil is responsible for the Returns and Order Desk teams. Please look forward to introductions to these valuable team members!

Veterinary Purchasing is pleased to introduce the first annual VP Student Scholarship awards. Students employed at VP who are attending or planning to attend post secondary studies were encouraged to apply for one of two $1000 cash scholarships. Applicants were assessed based on their length of service, work ethic, grades, career aspirations and goals. There were many excellent submissions, and VP could not be prouder of the caliber of students we have working for the company.... The selection committee was faced with a very difficult decision. However, we are pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 Veterinary Purchasing Student Scholarship! Robin has been an employee at VP since August 2017, and will be taking the Office Administration Health Services program through Fanshaw College this fall. Abigail joined the VP team in August 2018, and will be taking the Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Education program through Brock University this September. Please join us in congratulating our two winners! We wish the best of luck to all our students this fall and would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for all your hard work this summer!
