We have received many calls regarding roosters that need a forever home. We are full at the moment here , but have been seeking placement for these beautiful boys on their behalf. If you have a desire to help these beautiful fellas,please reach out to us . Roosters are sweet, beautiful and often misunderstood, but can make a wonderful resident to most homes.

Good morning ! What a cold Sunday here on the farm. Only a few of our friends decided to leave the warmth of their beds in search of the sun.

Good morning everyone! So last night I had the pleasure of doing a phone interview with a lovely and intelligent little girl named Clara. She has chosen to do a school article/project featuring our Sanctuary and my family. This has brought so much joy to us here. To have the opportunity to educate the future generations, and spread our messages of love and kindness to all animals was amazing. We are very proud of you Clara and honored that you would choose our Sanctuary out of the many. If you ever visit the Island from Alberta we would love for you and your family to come meet all of our furry and feathered friends. Good morning! We have had a very busy weekend. For those who may not know, we had a news article written about our Sanctuary. Being a vegan Sanctuary, we have unfortunately ruffled a few feathers with the public. Of course that was to be expected and we honestly felt a bit disappointed and discouraged by this. BUT on a much happier note we have also had so many people support us through kind words , private messages, financial help and defending us and our work. The kind...ness and welcome we have recieved from the people of PEI is astonishing! And so many people from the vegan community across the globe have come to our and the animals rescue! It brought me to tears! We may run the Sanctuary but it takes a group like all of you to ensure its success! We have some exciting news coming .. and we will hopefully be able to have it all set up this evening. We look forward to hosting open house days this spring and meeting all of you wonderful humans soon. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
