Vancouver Goalball Club hopes everyone is having a happy and healthy start to the new year! We're sure it comes as no surprise that we regretfully will not be hosting our annual Vancouver Goalball Grand Slam in 2021. We are optimistic that by 2022 we will be able to have athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators come together for a great competition!
We miss being on the court, training and playing the sport we love! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, and following the physical distancing guidelines recommended by public health officials - then we can get back to the game as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep staying active through whatever creative means you have found - like US goalball athlete Tyler Merren's accessible workout videos: ReVision Training with Tyler Merren, Fitness VIP's BC residents can ...stay informed here: https://www2.gov.bc.ca//covid-19-provincia/bc-restart-plan Photo: Wakefield Agency

Taking advantage of having everyone in the same place, the Canadian Men's National Team used the opportunity to hold a great practice today! We would like to thank Guildford Recreation Centre for all their support in hosting a this tournament. From providing a very discounted rental rate, to doing an accessibility audit of their facility, it truly has been a pleasure working with their staff. Thanks Guildford!
