A long overdue video on demand by many of you... Here is the one! This is one of my favorite dance, portraying 'Radha' My all-time favorite character! This dance is about how much she loved Krishna, and missed him, was angry at his absence in her life, and still felt connected emotionally and spiritually and was communicating with him in her imagination! So many expressions in just one dance... Shringar ras (Expression of love), Vir ras (Expression of bravery), Karun ras (Sor...row), Raudra ras(anger), and Shant ras (Peace). 5 ras (expressions) out of 9, in just one dance! every set of hand gestures represents a different meaning to tell a story of Radha-Krisha, out of millions of the stories of their love. My Guru Late Shree Madhubhi Patel choreographed it about 50 years ago. With his kind blessings from heaven, sharing this dance that I learned about 30 years ago. See more
