I really appreciate all of the new people that have scrolled into the Vibrant Life Collective!! I'm Valerie and I'm so excited to have you here!! I'm an introvert with faux extrovert tendencies. Talking about myself is something I do with close friends. However, I'll share a few things about me because, I want to get to know you. And, one of us has to start the conversation! 3 THINGS ABOUT ME THAT ARE UNIQUE... 1 My claim, to somebody's twisted sense of fame, is being the only black woman where I live. Yes, you read that right. Real love brought me here. It's a long story ya'll. More details later, about what it's like to be NUMBER 1. 2 I live in a forest, with two guys, that share one name. The big guy calls me, "My love" the little guy calls me, "Mama" 3 3 x (-10) = -30. That is the number of the current temperature where I live. (-30C plus windchill -39C) RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME: I speak fluent English, Spanish, conversational Dutch, and dash of German. Places I have lived: Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, USA, and Canada. I've celebrated three birthdays in Italy. I've spent the night in Central Park. Crazy My mantra: GO GIRL. Vibrant Life Collective is a yoga community dedicated to women of color who want to design a vibrant life through yoga. I believe that wellness for women of color, is a necessity, not a luxury. Wellness is a radical act of self-preservation, care and love. In the collective we practice yoga on and off of our mats. I've been a practitioner of yoga for two decades and a teacher for one. I'm a student first and foremost. There is so much to learn! Yoga has helped me heal and transform my life, and I believe it can help you to. I am becoming the most whole version of myself and let me tell you, it's not always easy. Living a vibrant life does come with a dose of adversity. However, I've navigated the storms. Relentless determination and faith have brought me through. One thing I know for sure is I am not the only unique person with random things to share. It's your turn. Drop a comment below. What is unique about you? What is random that you care See more
