Two pushers and 4 chairs is all these kiddos need for hours of entertainment. The other toys are for dumping on the floor, maybe for obstacles

It’s going to be raining quite heavy tomorrow morning, so it’s a perfect day for art. We will be using fruit to make pumpkin stamps, and the paint is not water paint and may not come out of clothes. I have aprons, but incase of a paint mishap I wouldn’t send them in something you would hate to see get ruined

Hi families, After having a great discussion with a Mama today about feeding little ones thought it would be a perfect time to reach out about what your kids have been eating here, what I intend to introduce and ask each family to add some your kiddos favs to the mix. I’ve had a few conversations and it seems to be that kids who ate everything tend to go through a phase where they only eat a handful of things they love. I want to provide balance and offer as much nutrition a...s possible, and I can use your help! Before I start I have noticed a few likes/dislikes. Mainly in the fruit and vegetable department. Rest assured I offer both to your kiddos daily but they don’t always eat them. I offer vegetables as sides, as well as mixed into pastas, and casseroles. DISLIKES- green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers (unanimous on all those). Some fruits that only a few kids will eat are- blueberries, bananas, grapes and sometimes apple. Other things I’ve found some like while some don’t are- bread and blackberry jam and meat like ground beef. LIKES- cheese, pasta, sandwiches, pancakes, potatoes, corn, carrots, cold plates of mixed items ( but only a few are absolutely liked by everyone). Sauces do seem to make the world go around . I’m planning to try eggs, rice and other veggies like roasted root veggies , soups and wider variety of sandwiches. I’d like to try breakfast for lunch on occasion. Last year. Also offered Naan pizza. I currently do the following: Pancakes have had shredded apple and zucchini in them but am thinking about trying pumpkin. I do left overs from meals I have made for my family as well. Sandwiches have been peanut butter and jelly but am curious about meat and egg sandwiches. Pastas with different sauces with veggies mixed in. Cold plates: roast chicken (if I have it). fruit, raw veg, crackers and cheese. Is there a particular meal item, sandwich, vegetable etc.... your child loves? This will help me but it might also give ideas to our fellow daycare families for things to try when a picky phase hits.
