Amelia Rising Sexual Violence Support Centre is hosting an online event titled Womxn & COVID-19: Community Impacts, Changes & Challenges happening January 18th at 10am. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A at the end of the panel and we will also welcome other service providers viewing to add their insight (time permitting) at the end of the discussion. The goal of this panel discussion is to learn more about the impacts of COVID in our community, what supports are available in the community/ how they’ve adjusted and how we can get involved locally. This event is free, open to the public and service providers. Please share within your network! (This event is in replacement of the 2021 Women’s March as we do not feel comfortable hosting an in-person event due to COVID concerns and community safety).
