The Annual March in Cornwall bringing awareness to and protesting violence against women in all forms is once again being planned by the CEIU Local 621 (the Union for the Cornwall and Area Service Canada employees) Women’s Committee. The event will be hosted virtually this year on Sept. 17, and will also encourage people to walk individually or in smaller groups. Those who are interested in participating in next month’s event in Cornwall can go to Take Back the Night 2020 pag...e on Facebook, or contact [email protected] to register. ------- La marche annuelle à Cornwall pour sensibiliser et protester contre la violence faites aux femmes sous toutes les formes est planifiée par le Comité des femmes de la section locale 621 du SEIC (le Syndicat des employés de Cornwall et de Service régional Canada). L'événement aura lieu le 17 septembre. Nous encourageons les gens de marcher individuellement ou en petits groupes. Victim Services of S.D.G. & A is in search of a Client Support Worker to join our team. The Client Support Worker is responsible for supporting victims of crime and tragic circumstances. This position reports to the Client Support Coordinator and is a full-time, bilingual position working 35 hours per week with flexible work hours which will include some evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
