Forrest Behr 1d Five years ago today, I woke for the first time on our beautiful island. And I'd slept in a ditch. I'd arrived the night before on the 10:30 Long Harbour ferry from Vancouver. I was homeless and dragging all my worldly possessions on a hand truck tied to the back of my bike.
