I'm so thankful to be open and to see all the beautiful souls that come into my office. Hope everyone is doing well during the challenges that are around us. Be sure to take the time to nurture your own soul.
We continue to be open at this time as our province operates under code red restrictions. We are following strict protocols of cleaning, masking and social distancing. We are fortunate to continue to work with our patients and assist them with their health.
This is such a great way to think about all aspects of our health. Our body, mind and spirit all contribute to our health and well-being.
Chiropractic care helps to keep the nervous system healthy. Chiropractic not only helps alleviate pain, it also optimizes overall function and general health.
Make up your mind to improve your health by just a little bit. We’re all capable of changing our habits. It starts with attitude.
It is so important to feel gratitude for things in our life as well as what is to come in our lives. I am feeling very grateful for my long time employee, Darlene, who has so efficiently managed my office through many years. I’m excited for her future, as she is moving to be closer to family.
Working from home has its challenges including more time sitting and less time moving. You can improve your posture today with our free Straighten Up Canada app. http://bit.ly/2mVs4Ke

Hope everyone is having a wonderful long weekend. Make time for yourself as working on your body and mind will certainly help to feel rejuvenated.
Here are some yoga poses for stress relief and relaxation. I challenge everyone to start or continue a habit that helps better your health. Stay positive and safe!
These stretches are great for postural stress due to lots of work at the computer.
Hoping that everyone is staying healthy and safe through this time. I am missing being in the office looking after patients but making the most of time with my family. I am in the office a couple hours per day mostly doing some housekeeping duties and some online education. I am available for emergency service if any of my patients are needing pain relief. It is also a time to reflect on the important things in our life, find things to be grateful for, and remain positive for the future. At this time we will be closed next week except for emergency service. If you need to contact us, call 204-725-0151 and leave a message. Tentative date to reopen is now April 13 although we will be reassessing this next week based on directions from our association.
We are very happy to be reopening this upcoming week and thank you for your patience through the past six weeks as we were closed. We will be operating at a reduced capacity in order to follow the rules of social distancing and take the time between patients to clean our office. We would ask for your patience as we adapt to this new normal and get through to all our patients. If you are needing an appointment, please call the office at 204-725-0151 and we will be pleased to help you.
Low back stretches 2
With the extra time that I have, I’ve decided to several stretching videos that are helpful when you are experiencing pain or just want to work on flexibility. The first one is some lower back stretches to get started with. Hope everyone is staying well!

We hope everyone is staying safe and finding some joy during these unusual times. The most recent public health order has been extended and has resulted in us staying closed until April 28th. We are available for emergency/necessary visits so if anyone needs, they should call our office and leave a message. Here is a bit of humor to hopefully brighten your day. We look forward to seeing everyone in the near future.

We will unfortunately be temporarily closing the clinic effective Monday, March 23rd. We need to do this based on the recommendations that we have received from the Manitoba Chiropractic Association. During this challenging time it is most important that we keep everyone safe and healthy as well as prevent spreading it to others. We will be available for emergency or required care. This would include the following: -having a condition that you may need to seek other heal...thcare resources. -pain is bad enough that you are needing to use medication to manage. -your condition is limiting function and may limit ability to work. -your sleep is disrupted due to the level of pain you are experiencing. We are here to support our patients so don't hesitate to contact us with questions or concerns. Try to stay positive through this challenging time. If you have extra time at home, enjoy time with family and take the opportunity to practice some healthy lifestyle habits.
We are continuing to take extra precautions to ensure our office is germ free. This morning this has included putting away all toys and magazines. We value everyone’s health and are making this our first priority.
Our office will remain open as usual during this time of protecting ourselves from COVID-19. We are taking extra precautions to ensure our office is clean and germ-free, including using paper on the headrest and wiping our tables after each appointment. Remember at this time that it’s even more important to be diligent with healthy lifestyle habits. These include eat healthy, get plenty of sleep, moderate exercise and some fresh air. Stay healthy everyone and I will keep you updated in the coming months on other health tips.
As we are heading into spring, I challenge everyone to make improvements in their diet.
