PRAYER SCHEDULE - SUNDAY PRAYER FOCUS: GLOBAL REVIVAL - Pray for the spiritual awakening of the Church of Jesus Christ that we would utterly seek the Presence, Purposes and Power of the Holy Spirit for all of life; and utterly depend on Him to fulfill the Great Commission and thus, in-break the Kingdom of God in participation with the work of the Lord our GOD (Acts 2).... PRAYER FOCUS: GLOBAL CHURCH/ GLOBAL NEEDS Pray for the leadership of the Church. Pastors and church leaders are making difficult decisions related to public worship and the safety of their members. - Pray that pastors and church leaders will have the wisdom to faithfully shepherd the congregations under their care, even if we are unable to physically gather (1 Peter 5:2). - Pray that through the unction of the Holy Spirit, Christians will love their neighbours with Christ's love - especially during this time of global crisis (Mark 12:31). Pray for the church. - Pray for a spirit of obedience and generosity. During this time, let us remember to continue to bring our tithes into the House of the Lord (Malachi 3:8-12) and worship the Lord with our financial giving. - Pray that God’s people will manifest a spirit of generosity and sacrificially give of their time and resources to meet needs that will arise in their communities (2 Cor. 9:6-8). LOCAL CHURCH/LOCAL NEEDS Pray for the spiritual health and emotional well-being of our church members. Prayer: "Father God, we praise and thank You for Victoria Chinese Pentecostal Church. You have raised and sustained this body of Christ all these years. During this time when we are not meeting, plant an assurance in us of our love for You, and for one another. Lord, we ask that Your Will be done for this congregation. Soften our hearts and turn our hearts toward you, Lord Jesus. Knit our hearts together as one body. Heavenly Father, thank You for watching over everyone, especially those who are unwell, heart broken and lonely. Amen.

Dear Prayer Warriors, Good morning. Yesterday, the statistics for new rise of cv19 cases for Thusday,was 150,000. The highest it's ever been. Vancouver Island is in a privileged situation with no known cv19 cases. There's only 5 days left of One Voice, so let's all pray for the nations. Jude:24-25 CJB... Now, to the one who can keep you from falling and set you without defect and full of joy in the presence of his Sh’khinah to God alone, our Deliverer, through Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord be glory, majesty, power and authority before all time, now and forever. PRAYER SCHEDULE - SATURDAY PRAYER FOCUS: GLOBAL REVIVAL - Pray that the Church would submit utterly to God - in the name of Jesus Christ; and resist the devil. (James 1:7) - Pray that the Holy Spirit would empower the Church to resist sin in our lives that would hinder God’s revival upon the land (Matthew 6:13, Isaiah 54:17, Zechariah 4:6) PRAYER FOCUS: GLOBAL NEEDS - Pray for the physically emotionally and spiritually vulnerable. Immuno-compromised people (including our elderly and those in care homes) are especially at risk as the virus spreads. - Pray for God's merciful protection for the sick, and the elderly. - Pray for those facing financial hardship. - Pray for those who have lost their means of income; resulting in possible loss of homes, and daily needs. Over the next few weeks, there will be many opportunities to meet tangible needs. - Pray that God’s people meet these opportunities with wisdom and grace (Mat. 25:35-40). LOCAL CHURCH/LOCAL NEEDS - Pray for those who are in critical condition - in hospitals, care-homes, or isolated at home in quarantine. Prayer: "Lord, we ask for mercy for all who are suffering and unable to be with loved ones. Father, we ask for your Holy Spirit to be with them. Send them Your angels to minister to their needs. Lead them to Your precious Son, Jesus Christ.

PRAYER SCHEDULE - FRIDAY PRAYER FOCUS: GLOBAL REVIVAL - Pray that the world would come to the Cross, repent before God, and receive salvation through Christ Jesus who atoned for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). ... - Pray that every believer would be uninhibited and unreserved in being fully empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, 12:28-30, Ephesians 4:11, 1 Peter 4:11) to be Christ’s holy witnesses to the Nations. PRAYER FOCUS: GLOBAL NEEDS - Pray for all medical, healthcare providers (hospitals, care-homes, medical labs etc.), front-line and essential services personnel (i.e. grocery, agriculture, sanitation, public transport, finance, logistics, communications, technology etc.) in this COVID-19 pandemic season. - For their commitment to care and serve the community, including those who are sick, elderly, or in need pray that our God would give them (1) wisdom to make sound decisions, (2) protection for themselves and their families, (3) courage and strength to face each day’s tasks and struggles, (4) the necessary skills to fulfill their roles well, and (5) divine revelation that Jesus Christ is Healer, Helper, Saviour and GOD. - Pray for accurate and honest reporting. Pray for those who represent governments, and the news media. Pray that government officials, news media reporters and journalists would accurately report updates about the status of the pandemic with integrity, and not seek to peddle conspiracies, politicize the threat, or stoke fear where it is unwarranted. LOCAL CHURCH/LOCAL NEEDS - Pray for the local churches to unite in the Lord and continue to seek His Kingdom in all areas of life, especially in the face of difficulties. Dear Beloved Church, Good Morning Church! It would seem that summer weather has arrived! I pray a wonderful weekend ahead for everyone. What with Father's Day on Sunday, there's much to think about and arrange. I pray for a sense of deep joy for you all in that preparation. For some it will be reminiscing the memory of dad, for some, long distance phone calls to loved ones, for some ..perhaps some last minute buying of presents for dad. However your preparation looks li...ke, and whatever feelings this time can invoke, know that our Father in Heaven so so loves everyone of us.
