This years Christmas Eve breakfast and turkey lunch was a HUGE success! We served over 350 meals to our community and gave out hundreds of pounds of canned foods along with beautiful gift bags full of toiletries, blankets, socks and more! ... We could not have done this without the help of our incredible community partners such as Cakes Etc, Esquimalt High School, Red Barn Markets, THE ROOT CELLAR | village green grocer , Santa's Anonymous ...and so many more! We were so grateful to be able to provide folks with a little bit of joy this holiday season and thank you to our volunteers who spend their Christmas Eve with us, it was a blast

WOW! What an incredible food drive held by View Royal Elementary School! The students and staff together gathered over 1000 pounds of dried goods for the kitchen!! We are truly blown away

The Root Cellar is currently taking donations for the Rainbow Kitchen at the till! While you’re shopping for your holiday feast, keep in mind The Root Cellar will be matching any donation towards a store credit that will provide staple ingredients to keep us afloat this season and beyond

A huge thanks to CFAX Santas Anonymous for this amazing delivery of over 600 pounds of dried & canned goods As well as 50 dozen eggs in support of our hot breakfast program! These donations will help us provide our guests with pantry items to take home for the holidays alongside our hot turkey lunch Thank you for helping us spread holiday cheer this season

We want to welcome everyone in our community to come by The Rainbow Kitchen for a delicious bacon and egg breakfast, a fun indoor lineup, an amazing feast with all the trimmings, gift bags and MORE! ...
