Grand Pacific Hotel and Bar on Johnson Street. Est. 1879. Built by the Bossi brothers, the hotel bar was an important gathering place for Victoria's Italian community and is one of the great historic bars of past that we cover on our tour. The building still stands - with Famoso restaurant where the bar once stood.

German Grill & Tavern. Basement of the Empress Hotel. 1908. The German Grill & Tavern unfortunately no longer exists today, but was a state of the art dining establishment for its time complete with a Turkish Lounge Bar. www.victoriasaloontours.com ... The Prince George Hotel. 1912. The Prince George Hotel - better known to most in Victoria as the Rialto Hotel today - was built by Victoria-born Lim Bang. It's just one of the many hotel bars of past that we cover, that still exists today. Photo Courtesy of the City of Victoria Archives.
