Nobody can know you’re tired You’ve heard me say it 1000 times at the Victoria Wrestling Club and this match shows why. Blue demonstrates superior technique throughout the match, yet while he’s still leading by a comfortable margin he folds under the relentless pressure of red and it shows through his body language. He displays weakness, Red feeds off these queues, increases his pressure, and comes back to win. Of course, physical fitness definitely makes it easier to maint...ain your stoicismto not change your body language as you fatiguebut it’s not everything. At the end of the day, it’s 6 minutes of your life and ifat least at this levelyour brain can’t overcome your body and tell it to push through, maintain pressure and do what you want, you deserve to be devoured. Are you eating or being eaten?
there’s a difference between wrestling being a part of and helping inform one’s identity, and wrestling being the very source of one’s identity relative to self-worth and value. The former is empowering; the latter is damaging.
