#victoryreddeer update... With the rise of COVID-19 and increased levels of concern, including the AB government recommendations, we wanted to update you on how we are doing our part in reducing the speed of the spread of this virus in our community. - Currently we are offering two services on Sundays, 9 am and 11 am. This allows us to be well under 1/3rd capacity with plenty of room for social distancing. Also, if you are still not comfortable, or are unable to attend, we ...are livestreaming both services right here on Facebook. - We ask that you wear a mask when you come, especially for worship, and if you forget yours we have extra! - We will be sanitizing between services, as well as high touch surfaces during the service. We have hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the building. - We are reviewing all of our upcoming events to determine if they are safe to go ahead or not, so please follow our page, or go to our website www.vcrd.ca to keep up to date. - If you feel unwell please stay home and join us online. We will have live hosts ready to connect with you or pray for you. - We have to remember at times like this the church is a people not a place, and it’s a people on mission defined not by fear or anxiety, but hope and an opportunity to be salt and light. Let’s make a difference by showing that the Church is not just a Sunday morning thing but a people called to help in times of crisis. This might include interacting and encouraging those who may become quarantined or have chosen to stay at home because they are in a high-risk category. Perhaps deliver groceries or pick up necessary prescriptions for those that need the help. Pray for God’s protection and for healing for those already affected by the virus, especially seniors and those with pre-existing conditions. As Christians, we remember that in matters like this, God invites us to trust in him rather than worry or panic.
