Also notable is board member Angela Forster placed a few times with her Old Bones Creak Nubians, (feel free to post pics in the comments, Angela, we’d all love to see!) as well as Jaki Ayton with more of her Snapdragon Toggenburgs in the AOP class. Yellow Point Nigerians was also represented placing with a yearling milker owned by Cobie Woods. We’ve all been missing the shows so thanks to those who entered for trying it out! Found: Two female goats, anyone recognize them? "Two goats were found wandering across the street from us late last night... they aren't ours, two females, one looks to be lamancha, and the other a longer haired cross.. this is in Yellow Point, have posted to our community board but nothing yet, anybody recognize them? they are being housed at our neighbour's for the time being. " -Corner of Yellow Point Rd and Martella in Yellow Point/Cedar area
A pasture question.... native bleeding heart, pearly everlasting, fireweed.... are they toxic to goats / sheep? I've been digging out the foxglove, but then again, I have a friend with a couple dozen goats who forage daily amongst foxgloves and never got sick (?!?). Thanks!

Copied and Pasted from Canadian Goats Facebook group: This will be the first in a brand new set of information updates from CGS. CGS CLASSIFICATION PROGRAM CANCELLED FOR 2020.... During a very recent board meeting the CGS board voted to cancel classification service for 2020. The decision was a pragmatic one, but, also done with sadness. The situation revolving around the current health crisis is moving at a terrific pace, but, still leaves many questions unanswered. CGS will work with each applicant for service regarding any funds forwarded to CGS already. The decision of each applicant will be fully respected. CGS will use 2020 to further enhance the program and to work on advanced training for classifiers. The CGS board felt a great responsiblity toward the safety and health of both our staff and members who were planning to make use of this important service. The board is highly hopeful that classification will be back, better than ever, in 2021. Questions or comments may be directed to the CGS office. -Russell Gammon
