Hey VIHJA members, Cedar Vista Stables is hosting their last schooling show of 2020 on October 23rd through 25th! They're wrapping up the show season with a fun filled horse show featuring great sponsors and prizes. Westside Stables is hosting their annual Halloween show October 31st and November 1st! Join them for a fun filled show held in their indoor arena featuring hunter classes from trot poles to 2’9+. They’ll even have a fun costume class for all to participate in! Entries are due this Sunday, October 25th. There are still some spaces available for the Lochside Lane Gymnastic Days September 5th through 7th (this weekend!!!) Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to school grids and various exercises in Lochside’s sand ring. The grass arena will also have hunter and jumper fences set so you can really take advantage of your time slot! Contact Tanya ASAP at 250-217-1295 to sneak into one of those available slots!

We are excited to share that Lochside Lane is hosting Gymnastic Days September 5th through 7th, 2020! The sand arena will be jam-packed with gymnastic fun! * Grids & various exercises for all levels and heights will be offered for open schooling.... * The grass arena will have a Hunter & Jumper course set as well for those who want to play out there. (The grass arena is fresh turf seed, so no studs allowed this year) * Trainers can book 1-3 hour windows, with up to 12 horses at a time (50 people). * There will be a draw for exciting prizes during every rotation of horses! The VIHJA team wants to give a big thank you to all the sponsors, staff, volunteers, and of course the riders and trainers who participated in our Summer Schooling Daze event this past weekend! Without all of you, we wouldn’t have had such a successful event We learned a lot about how to run a COVID friendly event and we appreciate all of the feedback we’ve received.
