The Bjorkdale Rink Board is doing a box hockey draft to raise some money this year. As you may or may not know the Bjorkdale Rink had to replace the furnace unexpectedly which has postponed our opening. We are looking at opening next week. The cost is $20 entry fee 40% to the winner, 10% 2nd and rink gets 50%. UPDATE FROM THE BJORKDALE SKATING RINK - The Board has been working diligently to have the skating rink open and available to the public this winter season. Ice is currently being flooded by volunteers with the hopes it will be operational in the next 2 weeks. Anyone who is interested in volunteering to flood the ice can contact Tyson Wearing, President at 873-8344 for more information. More information will be coming available soon. Public skating and shinny will be run differently this year in order to ensure we do not exceed capacity limits and cleaning is done after uses. Stay tuned.
