Someone who eats oranges is consistently putting them in the recycle bin...along with other food waste. Please remember that the recycle bin is NOT SUITABLE FOR COMPOST!! It causes Loraas to reject the entire bin, so it ALL GOES TO THE GARBAGE instead of being recycled. The ironic thing is that the compost pile is directly across from the recycle bin PLEASE ... if you're bringing recycling ensure your compost is going to the right place.

We may not be able to do BUSINESS GARBAGE on Friday, January 15. If it definitely needs picked up, please give the office a call.

Garbage pickup will occur on Monday morning, December 28th....please have it out by 9am as usual. The Waste Transfer Station will be open Saturday, December 26 from 1 to 5 pm (regular day and hours). If you're recycling paper, cardboard and other materials from your holiday purchases, please pay attention to the type of paper you're putting in. Foil or foil-backed paper isn't allowed, and neither is food-stained cardboard or containers (or garbage). Thanks for your cooperation, and Happy Holidays!
