Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Contamination Culturelle exhibition In Saint-Lazare until Sunday, December 6, 2020 This spontaneous collaborative public art project stems from a desire for collective creation, despite the confinement we are currently experiencing. After being presented in four other Vaudreuil-Soulanges municipalities, between July and late October, the exhibition is wrapping up in Saint-Lazare, much to our pleasure. The works of art included as part o...f the exhibition will be displayed on the grounds of the Saint-Lazare Community Centre, located at 1301 du Bois Street, until Sunday, December 6, 2020. We ask that you respect the public health measures in effect. The exhibition brings together works by 14 artists from the region, set up on giant triangular prisms bearing the colours of the CACVS. Other than the requirement to create works large enough to be seen from a distancedue to physical distancing and health measuresno other restrictions were imposed on the creative process, giving the artists almost complete freedom to express the theme of cultural contamination in their own unique way. Participating artists include two women from Saint-Lazareenamel painter Lorraine Bouchard and jeweler Louise Séguin. To find out all about the participating artists and learn more about this project, visit https://www.artculturevs.ca/contamination-culturelle.html
