This can't be! My top bucket list guy!

We are very fortunate to have some of the best instrument grade Spruce in our area. This Sitka with a visually interesting anomaly we call Bearclaw, in the biz.

Once again feeling grateful to be working with the finest woods our planet has to offer. Sitka Spruce from VI is numero uno thanks to my friend Bev Finch! Koa is only indigenous to Hawaii and the good stuff is getting harder to come by. This is the good stuff! All dressed up in a cute little parlour guitar. These little guitars have it going on!!!

It all starts with a pile of wood

A good excuse to get out of Powell River or pop on by if you're near the lovely little hamlet of Errington! A great luthier show and a double bill evening. The Bills (awesome) playing at he hall that evening and Bill Henderson playing in Parksville!

A new one that I'll be playing for a bit! A classic L-00 in Adirondak Spruce / Quilt and Curly Maple. Honduran Rosewood bridge, FB and head plate. Koa Binding. Sweet looking. Sweet sounding! Fun with Colours!

Hello from SE Asia. Sometimes in life very cool things happen. One was to order some headstock logos from Andy DePaule and rather than have them shipped from Vietnam, pick them up in Ho Chi Minh at Andy's house, hang out, eat some food, play some tunes. Feeling grateful!
