Vinet farms Performance Horses 08.11.2020

I would like to say thanks to Phil coming over this week to help me. My show horse had started to become a little spooky with sudden noises behind her so like m...ost people I just started to avoid riding her when this might happen. This past weekend at a show when riding her outside, she also became very spooky and made me feel very unsafe on her. As I can’t ride her through it as some would say, I was sure our show career was over. Phil came over Monday night to help. The evening was amazing. He worked with her and taught me how to listen to her and communicate with her and by the end of our session he had flapping tarps on her and was blowing air horns behind her while she quietly stood ground tied. With homework in hand I am confident our show career is not over but we do have some learning to do together. I look forward to more sessions with Phil. See more

With simple to understand and apply methods no rider was too old or too young to try out some new methods in equine communication! Alexa and Cupid demonstrated... a balanced and relaxed canter (historically a gate which has been a challenge to achieve) with very soft and understated aids! Way to go kiddo! @meadows.equine #naturalhorsemanship #learninganewway #themeadowsequine #showhunters #showjumper #ponyhunter @ The Meadows Equine See more

Huge thanks to Phil Vinet who spent the last 2 days at The Meadows Equine giving our riders and horses the foundations required to rewire the horses anatomical ...reactions to stress! It's such a treat to get to work with such a master in animal behaviour and conditioning. #naturalhorsemanship #abetterway #nostress #nopressure #nohands #noproblem #showjumper #showhunter #classicalconditioning #horsemanship #conbriofarm #themeadowsequine @meadows.equine @ The Meadows Equine See more
