TWO ADOPTION UPDATES: The first is Nanook's, and the second is Oliver's. They were both rehomed last week, after their 100-day Detox's at the start of their 10...0-day rehomes! Nanook was about to be euthanized by his previous owners, and instead got neutered on his scheduled death day, and came to Happy Tails the next morning via our shuttle service. They attempted to raise the money for our packages but were not successful. We were though, his new and forever home is full of adventures with a loving fur-bro, Canadian border officer-mum, and his aunt in mental health care. He now lives in the Windsor area. Oliver came from Iran, a dog almost beaten to death. There and here, several rescues stepped in to help him. Unable to overcome his damages conventional with behaviourists, trainers, etc. they sought to employ our services. They raised the monies to purchase our detox and rehoming, and you will love the transformation. He has a beautiful home with the CAF medical doctor-dad and teacher mum, and he currently resides in Petawawa and has his forever home as if he was always theirs and never suffered. Jack and Tara, next, I hope; their two different potential owners will NOT likely be social media people. They will most likely be a bit reclusive in their lifestyles. People who are dog-savvy and now looking for a strongly committed dog and dog/human relationship in their lives. These dogs' owners will be mature, live in an isolated country setting, and seek their companion, friend and family. Put your thinking caps on for Jack and Tara; let's find out together who is their future and spread the words to those within your sphere whom you might think are their people. I will post more of them later, but following; you will have seen their earlier posts. <3
