The living room is where grandkids & @rykbob play catch with glass paperweights!! Where (when we can!!) evenings are spent with friends. Where all the furniture and most everything else in their room is VINTAGE. Auctions flea markets & thrift stores each piece has previous homes. Some table top pieces are even from family. Reupholstered chairs couch and ottomans are all vintage!! The bamboo & leather coffee table has been around long before we got married , Bob had it years... before. The stone lamp is huge, with a garage sale 99 cent burlap shade. Browns tans animal print, velvet and suedes, cozy and warm. Keeping it traditional fun, individual and welcoming. The last day for this tree!!! Trust me we have taken trees down even later than this!!! A few sunny days and we are motivated!!! Anyone remember our guest bedroom a few years ago?...swipe. So I told our granddaughter, when covid first happened, I would cute it up for her!! I think she was thinking a bit more pink, but I shopped the house and this was what I did!! We live in an earth quake zone so I don’t hang a lot over the bed....Releasing the horse string lights from storage, & posing the @americangirlbrand horse that’s in constant use here, kinda added whimsy to the room. The pink pillows I took fro...m the other guest room, now that room needs a makeover!! The old white duvet cover from @officialshabbychic was looking tired, but I brightened it with the @gocleanco method!! The side table is a VINTAGE HOME piece, always on rotation as they sell!! The bench from @switzersvintage was outside, the suitcase has more horse tack. The lamp probably will get changed, and the chair is a great height for kids to sit in, and grandparents. There’s a lot of playing that goes on in this room, a closets full of toys, a bookcase and a large vintage baby crib with dolls. The folded quilts are from my mom, made for our girls years ago!!
