Why tune my piano... good question! A piano goes out of tune fairly gradually, with changes in humidity being the biggest factor, with changes in temperature secondarily, and frequency of playing probably the least of the three. When a piano is in tune, it sounds crisp and clean; all the tones in a chord meld mathematically to produce a clean beautiful tone. As the piano goes out of tune, the lustre in the tone is no longer there and purity is absent. It just isn't fun to play. So if you want to keep your kids having fun, keep your piano performing and sounding beautiful and fall in love with your piano again!
This is a small sample of the pianos that I have rebuilt over the years...
