This beautiful Packard 845 is powered by a 120hp straight eight engine backed by a 4-speed transmission. The car is a joy to drive, brakes are excellent, steering is responsive and it has plenty of power.

This weeks car is a 1931 Packard 845 Convertible Victora by Rollston, one of only a handful built for Packard. This car is powered by the Packard 120 horsepower, 385 cubic inch inline eight engine and backed by a four-speed transmission. .

This model 43 is in very good condition, the lacquer paintwork has aged incredibly well since it's restoration nearly 40 years ago. All brightwork is excellent and the engine runs very smooth. A trunk and full set of side curtains are also included.

Studebaker gained control of Pierce Arrow in 1928 making Studebaker the fourth largest automaker in the USA. In 1929 a new line of cars with a new 366 cubic inch, straight eight engine rated at 125 horsepower was introduced. In 1931 a new, lighter, smaller model was produced in various body styles.... This Pierce Arrow was the model 43 and was produced for one year only. Total production was around 2600 units across all bodies.

This Pierce Arrow 43 was restored in the early 1980s by Dale Adams for Thomas J Lester of Lester Wheel and Lester Engines who was well known for building powerful and reliable engines. In 1982 Tomas Lester's Pierce Arrow was awarded the AACA National First Prize.... The car remains in excellent condition today. It's 125 horsepower, 366 cubic inch straight eight engine runs very well and is a joy to drive, sporting excellent brakes, a smooth transmission and excellent power delivery.
