Thank you for listening this summer. When we started thinking about airing the show again this summer I wasn’t sure if anyone would listen. I wasn’t sure if you’d tune it at a specific time, when you could listen on CDs or digitally or read the stories in books. Butit felt different to me to listen on the radio. It felt special. Once again, I’ve learned from you. So many of you wrote in to tell us that it felt good to think about people listening on the radio, across the country at the same time. And for those of us lucky enough to have them, our pets are one of the things that have helped keep us sane through these difficult and sometimes lonely times.
