Considering starting a YouTube channel? Here are 5 quick tips to help you succeed. 1) Clearly understand what it is that you want to achieve with your channel. Setting goals will help give you some much-needed direction. 2) Choose a niche. What are you planning to make your videos about, and what purpose will your videos serve? How will you provide value to your audience? Without a clear understanding of this, you won't be able to effectively provide value and grow an audienc...e. 3) Realistically plan your production and upload schedule. Producing videos takes lots of work, so factoring in concept, filming, editing, uploading and promotion all need to be considered. Consistency is key, so choose a pace that you can sustain. 4) A good quality camera is ideal for YouTube videos, but not necessary in the beginning. It is possible to produce excellent videos on your phone until you have an opportunity to buy a better camera. Getting started is ultimately the key. 5) Be patient! Your channel won't become successful overnight so strap in for the long haul and be prepared to fail lots before you find success.
